With over 30 years of culinary experience Chef Dayashankar Sharma pairs traditional Indian cooking with contemporary ideas and techniques.
Growing up in the northern Indian state of Rajasthan, Sharma’s culinary interest began at home watching his mother cook. His love for cooking eventually tuned into career following a diploma in Hotel Management with Oberoi group of Hotel and Taj group of hotels. These large hotels are where he spends his next ten years developing a depth knowledge of country’s regional cuisines and becoming an incredibly skilled chef. Sharma arrived England in 2000 and went out to work at the renowned Tamarind Group which owns London’s many best known and Michelin Starred Indian Restaurants.Read more
